FAQ

1.) How do I use a composting toilet?

SIT: Everyone sits because urine diverted keeps the smell down.

OPEN: Once seated, look to your left and you will see a lever that opens the trap door.

GO: This is self-explanatory.

CLEAN: If any residue is left in the toilet, spray it with the natural vinegar solution in the green bottle and use a paper towel that can be deposited in the toilet.

SPRINKLE: If there is any remaining odor, sprinkle 1/2 cup of Peat Moss on top from the container behind you.

CLOSE: Close the trap door and toilet lid.

TURN: The three prong lever mixes the mixture in the now sealed container. This only has to be done every now and then, but it's kind of fun to be apart of the solution!
